As I tole my subscribers a couple of weeks ago, there are a couple of big changes coming in at Online Rookies. One of the big changes we are making is that we are going to be working closely with other marketers who can share their perspective on what makes their Internet marketing strategies so awesome! Up until now Sarah and I have mostly shared our perspectives on what types of strategies we’ve used ourselves. However, other marketers clearly have talents that we have not explored.

One of the first marketers I am going to introduce you to is my friend Joachim Larsen. Joachim is a blogger from Norway who has some really awesome tips that he is going to be sharing on a new site he is launching.

I first connected with Joachim on the Warrior Forum when he was asking for others to review his site Internet Rockstars VIP. I had no idea what to expect when I checked out Joachim’s site, but figured I’d look it over and give him my perspective.

I have been very impressed with Joachim’s site thus far. Joachim humbly made it clear that he himself was not fully established in the Internet marketing business. However, he was persistent and chose to reach out to many other great Internet marketers, whom have helped contribute some great resources to his site.

Joachim is going to charge other Internet marketers $97 a month to join his site for 7 months. This is a big investment, but I think people can definitely stand to benefit from it. One of the most heavily debated topics in Internet marketing is the role linkbuilding plays in SEO. I have often heard people asking how many links it takes to get your site on the top of Google. I have some good and bad news for those people.

I guess I should get the bad news out of the way. There is no magical number of links that get you on the top of Google. There are so many factors that influence your SEO campaign. Some sites rank with a very small number of links, while others with thousands don’t rank at all.

Personally, I am skeptical of all claims like this and decided to check it out myself. I saw that he had 69 links to his site, but managed to rank as the very top result for the keyword “red rash.” This makes me think there is actually something to his claims.

Since Yasser is selling these tips through his ebook I don’t want to give them all away. However, I want to impart on you that it is definitely possible for you to get on the top of Google for a keyword without spending a ton of time building links.
